Shri P. Karunanidhi was the Abbot of the Shri Madhav Sadashivrao Golwalkar Mutt. He has been widely noted to be the most prominent ideologue of Hindutva. Karunanidhi is treated as one of the most influential and prominent figures among the Shri Madhav Sadashivrao Golwalkar Mutt. He was the first person to put forward the concept of a religion based nation naming "Hindu". Karunanidhi was one among the early hindu nationalist thinkers in India.
